 The Age For Newborn Session

7-14 days is the ideal age for a newborn session, however, the newborn session is for a baby who is under 30 days.

Why 7-14 Days?

Typically, when a new baby is aged two weeks or under, they’ll spend long periods asleep, and naturally enjoy spending time in the fetal position, which results in them also being comfortable in newborn photography poses, meanwhile because the baby is still relatively small, there will be more options of props used.

The Due Date Is Just An Estimation, How Do I Make A Booking?

I will prebook a time for around 14 days after your due date,  however, the due date is just an estimation (except for caesarean section）babies never arrive precisely, so notify me when your baby is born then I will confirm the day for your newborn session.

Safety & Hygiene Are Always My Priority

​

In the newborn session, safety is the most important thing I consider, all props must be stable and avoid any potential fall risk, the baby can not be left in a prop without care, never force a baby into some uncomfortable pose and always support the baby’s head.

STB Photographer had whooping cough and COVID-19 vaccine, for hygiene hand sanitiser & mask will be used, and all baby outfits will be washed regularly.
